More about Richard Cobb

During his training Richard gained experience in neurosurgery, plastic surgery and ENT surgery before ranking No.1 in the UK for selection into advanced specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. His training was completed across several London units including King's College Hospital, Guy's Hospital, St. George's Hospital and the Royal London Hospital.

Richard then travelled to Melbourne, Australia and completed a Fellowship in Orthognathic Surgery (Corrective Jaw Surgery) and TMJ (Jaw-Joint) Surgery at the Royal Melbourne Hospital before moving to New Zealand.

Alongside private practice, Richard is a Consultant Surgeon at Auckland City and Middlemore Hospitals, working across TMJ surgery, facial trauma reconstruction, facial skin cancer reconstruction, and orthognathic surgery including surgical management of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea (OSA). He lives in Auckland with his family.
